The following Pebblestone Fashion features are applicable for most of the companies in the fashion & apparel industry.
Matrix
One of the most important issues in the fashion industry is dealing with colors and sizes. This can be solved with matrix forms that can be directly manipulated on screen. A lot of competitors only have matrix in the sales line, while Pebblestone Fashion has it throughout the entire solution.
Receipt and Shipment
In the fashion industry a 5% over or under delivery is very common and will be accepted by the customer. In an integrated system you normally can only close an order with differences between ordered and delivered quantity by changing the original quantity. However, you than lose historical information. In Pebblestone Fashion we post these differences for statistical purposes.
Price Breaks
One garment or style normally has different sizes. The bigger the size the more fabrics have to be used for manufacturing. This might result in different costs of purchase and sales prices. This phenomenon is known as ‘price breaks’ of which there can be more than one in the whole range. If required, the size breaks can be calculated by Pebblestone Fashion. Although less common it is also possible to have price breaks in the color group. Price breaks can only be set up for purchase and sales prices. Differences in cost price must be solved differently.
Prepacks and Assortments
With Pebblestone Fashion you can compose assortments (kit) and prepacks. Assortments can be compared with the standard NAV sales BOM including the matrix.
Multi-company
Pebblestone Fashion solves the problem of working with different localized databases, but also shows all item related transactions in one company, such as sales orders, stock levels, purchase orders, etc. The module ‘Inter Company’ is very well suitable for companies with a main office in one country and diverse subsidiaries/ sales offices in other countries.
Samples
There are a lot of steps from the design, followed by purchasing or manufacturing samples, purchase or produce garment, forwarding, etc., until you finally can deliver the goods to the customer. In your industry a lot of different samples can be discriminated. They all are to be treated differently. In Pebblestone Fashion several features and tools are available to support sampling. One of the most important one is the Product lifecycle Management module (PLM).
Many more specific fashion features are dealt with by Pebblestone Fashion.
